Health and Safety Advisor is sought by this established, friendly and well respected independent family owned construction contractor based in Peterborough. As Health and Safety Advisor you will be assigned a number of business units within the group, you will have an engaging personality, have the ability to communicate at all levels, have the ability to advise, educate, learn and be solutions biased rather than a dictator or policeman. The Health and Safety Advisor will be expected to work independently but also part of an established, cohesive and supportive team of Health and Safety Advisors who work hard in building long term relationships with operational teams, site management, regional office professionals, ‘blue chip’ clients and their entire supply chain. All Health and Safety Advisors will take part in a brand new initiative by the client undergoing a significant behavioural safety / change programme to address all aspects of Health and Safety behavioural attitudes. Senior Health and Safety Advisor - Construction

Northern Home Counties – Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, North London, Suffolk This is an exciting appointment for an expanding national principal contractor. They are seeking a credible NCRQ, NEBOSH Health and Safety professional who enjoys motivating and leading others and with proven experience in managing multiple RC Frame build projects. There will be extensive travel across the Northern Home Counties Region – ideally you will be situated with access to the M11-M25- M1 and happy to cover North London works too. Projects are currently in Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, North London and Suffolk. You will possess health, safety and environmental experience across high value RC frame build projects ranging £10- £100m. Current projects include; Educational builds, Commercial offices, government buildings and some residential apartments. The organisation are extremely proactive in driving through change, and an individual who enjoys influencing site teams will prove an excellent match! The ideal is a work history with experience of major construction projects. Experience working for a well recognised principle contractor. NEBOSH or NCRQ Diploma with GradIOSH or CMIOSH status would provide the credibility they require, however candidates who hold the NCRQ or NEBOSH Construction Certificate and are working towards Diploma may also be considered.
