Broaden your horizons working for a multi-faceted organisation who are growing their team and seek an experienced civil engineering / utilities HSQE Advisor to join them at this exciting chapter Ideally you will be commutable to the Herts/Bucks borders. The successful candidate will be a passionate, self-managing Health and Safety specialist with a collaborative and analytical approach and the ability to influence diverse stakeholders. Ideally you will have multi-site experience working within Engineering, M&E, Civils, Telecoms, Energy or Utilities. Operating from several locations throughout the UK and Ireland the role will involve multi-site travel providing support to the operational construction teams. Ideally you will possess a solid understanding of large new build utility projects, civils, electrical and mechanical engineering safety. Additionally you must be able to demonstrate a proven track record of working at heights and heavy lifting. Your daily tasks will include; guidance and advice to management, engineers, field based operatives and corporate office staff on H&S compliance and risk management. Undertaking of internal and supplier audits, assist with development of management systems, undertake incident & accident investigation, contractor engagement, assist with development of HSQE management system, analyse trends identified and present recommendations and fresh ideas. The requirement for this role is TechIOSH or above with NEBOSH Certificate or NCRQ Equivalent qualification.
