The role will cover all estates and include ensuring that all relevant management, surveying, testing and inspection processes are carried out and follow up on all remedial works. As the training elements are completed the role will expand and encompass the extra duties. Requirements: NEBOSH Fire Certificate or equivalent. Group QHSE Manager - National Service Provider
Exciting new challenge for a Group Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Manager to join a forward thinking National Service Provider based in Rugby. This is a demanding role requiring good man-management skills and the perfect opportunity for a Group Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Manager looking to join a challenging environment where they can really make a difference and further their career in a fast paced demanding role. The role of the Group QHSE Manager is to manage a team of regional QHSE Advisors and Apprentice QHSE Coordinator to oversee quality, health & safety and environmental services ensuring a high standard of support to all operations nationally. Reporting into the CEO you will have experience of operating at board level and have a passion for safety and well-being. You must have experience of working with the Environmental Agency in relation to permits and exemptions, ensure Permitted operations such as treatment and transfer of hazardous waste are conducted within EA Permits. Ensure all adverse events – accidents, incidents and near misses – are reported in accordance with publicised procedures and promptly investigated to determine root causes; recommendations are made and followed through the CAPA process. As the Group QHSE Manager you will ensure ISO accreditations (9001/14001/18001(45001)) are maintained where currently held and gained where not held; manage transition of current ISO accreditations to 2015 versions by September 2018, introduce UKAS standard across the business nationally. You will ensure all records required under ISO standards are maintained, up to date and reviewed regularly, internal audits carried out on all sites as required by ISO standards, integrated management system is in place that covers all sites whilst continuously improving systems. The successful candidate will hold a minimum of NEBOSH general with extensive experience working in industrial services; Waste, Chemical Engineering, Oil & Gas, Confined space working. Ideally you will hold the NEBOSH diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or the NEBOSH diploma in Environmental management. You must have experience of managing ISO9001/14001/18001 management systems and ideally you will hold Lead Auditor qualifications in ISO9001 and SO14001.
